The Tulku Saga is a new concept in Fantasy.

And stories of ancient myths in the modern world like:

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
Something New:
But this story creatively weaves the philosophy and mythology of Eastern thought. Especially the incredibly rich traditions of Tibet. Hopefully it's a match made in heaven... I'll let you decide.
